Go Local Wednesdays – A Dark Tale to Kick off the Halloween Season

Don’t go alone, don’t make a sound, pretend you’re a stone.

Local artists Patrick Fatica and Blue Star have once again put their creative minds together to bring you yet another experiment in storytelling titled  Monster.  After the success of their past collaborations, ‘Hammers and Lambs’ and ‘Shadows of the Waifs’ they decided to bring something a little different to the table.  Using paper cutouts Fatica created a stop motion film about 5 little girls that get lost in the forest and fall victim to their vices, that film was the inspiration behind Star’s stage performance.  Dark and beautiful is something these two always seem to get just right!

If you are not familiar with these two locals be sure to visit one of this month’s shows and support the exciting art that is found surrounding Downtown Orlando in the Mills50 and Ivanhoe Village Main Street districts. This is definitely a show you do not want to miss and a perfect start to the Halloween season!
