Finally! Pig Floyd’s is opening its doors for business, tomorrow, September 11th at 4pm. If you live in, frequent or even just drive through the Mills50 district I’m sure you noticed a while back that the old Atilla’s restaurant was being gutted. That alone caused excitement for us, we love watching the Mills50 district grow and started wondering what would pop up there. Would it be a new unique storefront, a craft beer bar, a locally owned restaurant…? Our question was soon answered, a locally owned bbq restaurant, something Mills50 did not have!
Pig Floyd’s describes themselves as ‘Introducing a fresh interpretation of the barbecue experience. Integrating cultural influences with traditional fire, smoke and pit methods to craft vibrant, delicious fare.’ There is something for everyone on their menu, from brisket and ribs to tofu and salads. And let’s not forget their sauces, from traditional sweet and hot to the more exotic Tikka Masala. From what we’ve heard Pig Floyd’s will not disappoint and we cannot wait to see that for ourselves!
There will definitely be a line forming before 4pm so get out there early and grab yourself some deliciousness from Mills50 District’s only bbq joint, Pig Floyd’s!
