Next weekend is for the dogs!
Each year Lambs Eat Ivy Salon hosts Shampooch, a dog washing fundraiser to help raise money for a local animal shelter or rescue. There have been a total of 10 rescues helped and over $50,000 raised, that’s pretty impressive! This year the chosen rescue is Florida Little Dog Rescue, a rescue whose focus is on the little guys!
Now, this isn’t just a dog wash, it’s a huge event with so much to do! There will be a Block and Bark Party, professional pet portraits, food trucks, music, raffle prizes (an iPad!!) and so much more! It is such a fun event and you by no means have to have a dog to enjoy the fun. But if you don’t have a dog, we suggest you walk on down to Lake Eola and adopt one from Barktoberfest where there will be more than 50 rescue partners promoting adoption!
