Go Local Wednesdays – Pie for Lunch

I had pie for lunch yesterday, a pumpkin hand pie to be exact and my only regret is not getting a second one to-go.  If you too would like a pie for lunch, or any other time of day, you should check out P is for Pie, your taste buds will thank you.

In their own words ‘ P is for Pie Bake Shop is a small batch artisan bakery where everything is made from scratch by hand incorporating natural, seasonal and local ingredients to every extent possible.’  Upon walking in you definitely get that vibe.  It is quaint, a little rustic and very welcoming.  Their menu is quite extensive with both savory and sweet offerings. If you have an event coming up be sure to consider them because they also do weddings and catering.  Which leads me to a second regret, I should have used them to cater my wedding!  How adorable are these set ups!

P is for Pie Bake Shop is located in the Audubon Park Garden District at 2806 Corrine Drive, enjoy!
