Who Says There’s Nothing To Do In Orlando – Winter on the Avenue

Winterontheave

Winter Park is one of our favorite communities! They always have great events going on and tonight they will be hosting another, the Winter On The Avenue and annual Christmas Tree lighting.  The event runs from 5PM – 10PM and offers a lot of fun activities for the whole family.

There will be an ice skating rink available for $12/person for skate rentals.  Along Park Avenue the shops will host their open house and be participating in a holiday window contest.  Children’s choirs will be singing as the tree is lit from 5PM-6:30PM.  They are even offering Popcorn Flick in the Park featuring “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Home Alone.”

As the evening winds down, there will be two separate jazz performances from 7PM-10PM featuring Johnny Mag Sax at N. Park Ave. and Blue Bamboo Music at S. Park Ave.

So get the bunch together and get into the Christmas spirit!
