Who Say’s There’s Nothing To Do In Orlando – Mount Dora Arts Festival

mountdoraarts

The quiet historic town of Mount Dora, just a short drive from Orlando, which is situated on picturesque Lake Dora, hosts lots of annual festivals.  This weekend is the Mount Dora Arts Festival.  Brought to us by the Mount Dora Center for the Arts, this fine arts festival brings together hundred nationally acclaimed artists to show their art along the hilly streets of Downtown Mount Dora.  It’s targeted for everyone from art enthusiasts, festival goers and families!

If you’ve never made it to Mount Dora, I highly recommended you make the trip.  Pisces Rising is a wonderful restaurant, offering fresh local flavors with breathtaking views of Lake Dora.  Or head down to the Frog & Monkey Restaurant and Pub, a quaint little dive bar with food to die for and a great selection of wines and beers.

Make a day of it!  Head out to Mount Dora tomorrow for their Arts Festival.  Get there early to get the best parking places.   For more information, check out their webpage here.
