Who Says There’s Nothing To Do In Orlando? -A TRIBUTE TO HARRIETT: BEST OF BROADWAY

Ballet: an artistic dance form performed to music using precise and highly formalized set steps and gestures.  For The Orlando Ballet, which began in 1974, it has been the contributions from local philanthropists to help keep the performances going.  For Harriett Lake, this is truly her passion!  Lake contributes for over 200 different charities and hospitals throughout the Central Florida area.  She seems to have a special place in her heart for this awe inspiring art, and the Orlando Ballet will be showing their gratitude in a Tribute to Harriett: Best of Broadway show tomorrow, Saturday, February 25th.  The one act show will feature performances from Harriett’s favorite Broadway show tunes.  Harriett has assisted with picking the songs and sequence.  Instead of a red carpet, the Ballet chose a pink carpet (Harriett’s favorite color). She has even donated items from her own wardrobe to be used in the show.  This looks like it will be a really special dedication to an inspiring local philanthropist who is helping keep Ballet in Orlando!
