Who Says There’s Nothing to Do in Orlando? – Winter in the Park

If you haven’t seen already a large tent has been pitched just between Park Ave and New York Ave in Downtown Winter Park for the last month or so. With the recent colder weather most of us now have hats and gloves to wear so you should be well prepared to plan a outing at the Winter in the Park ice rinkimages

This weekend is the last weekend to attend this event and I took the time last night to do so myself. Being my first time in ice skates I wasn’t looking forward to children seeing me fall on my rear one too many times but as soon as I got myself to understand it’s just like roller blades I was off for the races. (Unfortunately the rules and regulations forbid speed skating so I kept my pace)

So… if you’re looking for a last minute “Let’s Do This” here’s an idea. There weren’t many people on the rink between 6pm and 8:30pm (Yes I skated for over 2 hours) so a family outing wouldn’t be too crowded or a cute date night under the Winter Park skies with Hot Cocoa could be something to plan! (aw)
