We’ve all heard the phrase “Thursday is the new Friday”. And we’ve all dreaded going to a networking event, but understand how necessary they are. But what if you could have fun on Thursday and still go to a networking event to be productive and responsible adult?
On the third Thursday of every month, the Downtown Arts District hosts a Gallery Hop. Their website says “thousands of visitors converge Downtown to celebrate art, music and business”. More than that – there is food to be had, music to be heard and shopping to be done.
The Gallery Hop goes on from 6 – 9 p.m. and hosts local artists, as well as nationally recognized artists. The venues range from traditional art galleries to not so traditional venues.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Once the Gallery Hop is over, the party heads over to Wall St. The after party goes on from 9 – 11 p.m. at Hooch’s.
